Need a pickup?

We can pick you up by car from Longuerue – Vieux Manoir train station for €10 round trip (up to 4 people). Please make sure to contact us at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a pickup.

By car

2 hours from Paris

Take the A13, then the A28 towards Amiens/Calais.

20 minutes from Rouen

Take the A28 towards Amiens/Calais, exit number 12 « Moulin d’Écalles. »

Get ready for your stay

What to bring for your stay

  • Provided equipment: water bottle, headlamp, and lantern
  • Appropriate clothing: in winter, bring warm and waterproof clothes, as well as rain boots or hiking shoes
  • Access to your cabin: we recommend using a backpack instead of a suitcase, as access is on foot via forest paths
  • Sport cabins: wearing pants or shorts is required for harness equipment

Comfort & amenities

  • Sleeping bag required: bed linen is not included (rental available at extra cost)
  • Water & heating: non-drinkable water point in each cabin, auxiliary heating available from November 1st to March 31st
  • Sanitary facilities: each cabin is equipped with dry toilets. Full facilities (showers, toilets, sinks) are available at the reception area
  • No electricity: get ready for an authentic experience in the heart of nature

Meals & self-sufficiency

  • You are welcome to bring your own meal (don’t forget your dishes).
  • On-site dinner: the estate offers menus delivered directly to your cabin. Breakfast is included with your overnight stay.

  • Charged phone required for all communication.
  • €50 security deposit required upon arrival (cash, check, or bank imprint).

Dinners are optional. To enjoy one, you’ll need to book it in addition to your cabin stay, at least one week before your arrival, by email or phone. We offer hot meals delivered directly to your cabin. Our local caterer prepares generous homemade dishes with a twist on traditional Normandy specialties. Frequently asked questions

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in the cabins, for safety and peace of mind.

What if I'm afraid of heights?

Sport cabins are not recommended if you’re afraid of heights.
We suggest the Drakkar cabin (5 meters high) or the Soleil Royal cabin (2 meters), both accessible via simple staircases.

What should I wear?
  • On your feet: sneakers or hiking shoes recommended. In case of rain, bring boots.
  • In cold weather: pack fleeces, warm jackets, and suitable clothing.
  • For luggage: avoid suitcases; backpacks or hiking bags are best.
When should I order dinner?
You can order your dinner:
  • at the time of booking,
  • or later, up to one week before your stay, with a simple message.
Do I need to bring my own sheets?
Bed linen is not provided. You have two options:
  • bring your own sheets (fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillowcase) or a sleeping bag (beds are 160 or 90 x 200 cm),
  • or rent linen on site.
Is it warm in the cabin during winter?
The cabins, made entirely of wood, have no electricity or running water. A kerosene heater is provided as auxiliary heating, maintaining a temperature around 15°C (59°F).
Do I have to walk a lot?
The cabins are located in a private forest. You’ll leave your vehicle in the parking area near reception, then walk to your cabin. Distances are specified in the description of each cabin.
Are there toilets in the cabin?
Each cabin is equipped with:
  • dry toilets,
  • a traditional non-drinkable water point. Showers and flush toilets are available at the reception area.
Are children allowed?
Yes, but only if the minimum age requirements for each cabin are strictly respected, for safety, legal, and insurance reasons.
  • From age 2: Canyon, Drakkar, Robin des Bois, Soleil Royal
  • From age 12: + Fer à Cheval, Vieux Chêne, Grand Hêtre, Baron Perché
  • From age 16: all cabins, including sport cabins
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: between 3 PM and 6 PM — please notify us 48 hours in advance.Check-out: strictly before 11 AM.
